LLOCS allows you to build in a very easy way a database of place locations. You can later use the app to help you to locate very quickly a particular place: a bar, a restaurant, a bookstore (or maybe that little lovely hidden square that you found in Venice!). And of course you can use it simply to record with just two clicks some given location (for instance where you left your car as a paradigm example!) so that you have a tool which helps you to get back to that point. LLOCS uses Augmented Reality as well to let you use your phone as a sort of visual compass as the usual AR apps of this kind do. This means that when you are trying to locate a particular spot nearby you just need to hold your phone and turn around until a sign appears in your screen pointing you into the right direction. This might be very useful when you are not very familiar with the map for the area you are trying to move your way around because you can rotate the map to make it to become in synch with your heading. Additionally, as an option, LLOCS automatically opens for you the phone’s Maps app which you might use for turn-by-turn directions. You may add any location to the database, not just the one you are currently staying at. You could do so either by dragging a pin around over a map or just by entering some address. This means that in just a few seconds you could add a location and share it instantaneously to someone you are meeting for a date. LLOCS sends an e-mail to that person/s with a screenshot of the map you created and also it embeds a link which opens up automatically the recipient’s browser showing the map. You can also select a number of photos and send them as attachments as well.
